Relaxing Today in Notting Hill and the Canal to Paddington

Coffee and treats from Ottolenghi, Notting Hill

A riverboat with the nickname of Mary's beloved paternal grandmother.

And another boat named Winnie, Mary's grandmother's name derived from Virginia. A good day thinking about Mike's folks. Mike's dad is first generation American, this is the Ardington "motherland".

And lunch on a canal boat. I love boats and eating while being pulled by the tide is right up my alley.

New area for exploring, and the headquarter area of Marks and Spencer, aka Marks and Sparks.

Hamster tube......pretty cool invention!

Yesterday I would have been sitting in this.

Regents Park, London Zoo, Regent's Canal

Everything I did today was a "first of". The South Asian exhibits for tigers and lions were amazing. The gorilla and meerkat exhibits were top tier. Lots of good animal conservation work going on here. Fun day, topped off with a "cheeky Nando's", the way you refer to a popular chicken restaurant.

This young guy was cute!

Momma, a two year old and a one year old! Patient Momma.

Gotta have the Komodo Dragon

Thanks to HRM ERII and the Duke of Edinborough, South Asian lions are being conserved, and I got to spend a couple of hours in India again.

❤️Reema Patel!

Sumatran young and strong tiger

Large Pelicans!

Cute Lemurs!

One of the houses Mary and I liked😉

Fabulous and the walk returned us to Notting Hill!
